Baleke Market: Kingsley Osemeke Ebube thanks Okowa

A youth leader and committed member of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ward 9, ,Ika South Local Government Area, Mr Kingsley Osemeke Ebube has thanked the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for the ongoing construction work at Baleke Market, Agbor, noting that when completed the market will help boost the economy of Ika South and also create jobs for many persons in the local government and beyond.He also thanked the governor for the numerous projects both already executed and ongoing ones in the State, a development which he described as monumental and unprecedented.

He continued by extending gratitude to a PDP Chieftain in Ika South, Mr Innocent Apaokwueze, popularly known as, Ayuba and Chief Isioma Okonta for their immense supports for Governor Okowa and youths in Ika South. He prayed that God will continue to bless and keep them alive in other for them to do more for humanity. He pledged his total support and loyalty to Okowa, Ayuba, Okonta and the PDP.

He concluded by expressing optimism that Senator Dr Okowa after his tenure in 2023 will be voted into the Senate where he will be inaugurated as president.

PDP Primaries: Nwaonicha Commends Jude Onya

An American trained Organic Chemist and Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor, on Special Duties, Dr. Chukwuma Nwaonicha, has commended the Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ika South Local Government Chapter, Mr. Jude Onya for the successful primaries of the party ahead of the March 6 Local Government Council elections in the state.

Nwaonicha who spoke in an interview during the week at Agbor said that Mr. Jude Onya, has since his assumption of office as Ika South PDP Chairman proved the good stuff he is made of with his sterling leadership style. He added that the mature way and manner Onya is administering the party has helped to cement the bond of unity among members.

According to Nwaonicha, “I want to use this medium to commend our dear PDP Chairman in Ika South Local Government, Mr. Jude Onya for the successful primaries ahead of the March 6 Local Government Council polls. Mr Onya deserves commendation because his sterling leadership style since assumption of office has been moving Ika South PDP forward. He is a good leader who is always carrying his party members along. He is responsible and knows his job. Ika South PDP is blessed to have Mr. Jude Onya as its Chairman. I will continue to support and pray for his success in office because he meant well for our party.

Speaking in a related development, Dr Chukwuma Nwaonicha wished the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Mr. Jude Onya and the entire PDP family in Ika South a happy and prosperous New Year. He also used the opportunity to call for more support for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in his desire to build a better and stronger Delta before he leaves office in 2023.

Ogboi Ezekiel Egbon joins Ika South Chairmanship race

Basking in the euphoria of Not Too Young to Lead, a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Comr. Ogboi Ezekiel Egbon, has joined political gladiators to run for the number one seat in Ika South Local Government Council ahead of the forthcoming local government polls.Ogboi who hails from Ogbe-Akina in Ogbemudein Community, Agbor made his ambition known in a parley with newsmen over the weekend.

The young and emerging leader with International knowledge in politics explained that he was eager to change the narrative in Ika South while being focused on bringing basic amenities to the door step of the people.Ogboi who holds a Bachelor degree in medical science, further narrated how he would make Ika South more workable to become a peaceful society for development to strive.

Our elders use to say that ‘youths are the leaders of tomorrow’. Therefore, I, Comr. Ogboi Ezekiel Egbon, has come to uphold the barton of leadership in Ika South LGA. I have the zeal and charisma to engage Ika South in a Resourceful and Youthful leadership.

If given the mandate, I assured that both young and old of our great party PDP and the entire LGA will enjoy fresh breath, insecurity will be reduced to it bearest minimum while working in line consonant with the SMART drive of our disguised Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa,” he said.

While urging the people to come out en mass to exercise their franchise at the poll, Ogboi appealed to them to support his aspiration as they join hands to effect the needed change in Ika South.
