Thursday, August 12, 2021, was a day of overwhelming joy for the over Three hundred widows at Idumuesah Community, in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State who benefitted from the philanthropic gesture of Prophet Joseph Igbodo, when he visited and presented them with food items and toiletries.
The General Overseer of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission International, Agbor, who was in company of his Pastors were received at the Church Auditorium of the Anglican Church, located along the Idumuesah/Ekuku-Agbor Road, Venue of the day’s program by the over Three hundred widows who came from the various quarters of the community.
While at the venue, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, gave the widows, 20 bags of rice, 200 cartons of Indomie noddles, 25 cartons of biscuits, 40 cartons of Bobo fruit juice, 15 cartons of Happy hour drink, 25 rolls of tissue papers, 40 rolls of cheese ball, 5 cartons of soap, 5 cartons Coco polls, 2 cartons of mini mini chin chin and 15 packets of sweets.
After presenting the items to the widows, the Prophet of God, informed them that his money was not in the items he brought for them but that they were provided by God, through kind hearted individuals and organizations.
Admonishing the widows, Prophet Joseph Igbodo, who is the Proprietor of Job Orphanage and also the Proprietor of St. Stephen’s Trust Widows Home, both in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, appreciated the widows for honouring his invitation to the community after so many years that he visited the area last.He charged the widows not to weep again, for God who is the husband of the widows has assured that He is going to wipe away their tears and beautify them, assuring that once they surrender themselves completely to God and be fully committed to His services they will enjoy the bountiful blessings of God.
He enjoined them to continually Pray against the enemies that makes them not to be interested in serving God, emphasizing that what God needs from them is that they should worship him diligently.Continuing, he assured them that the dry bones shall rise again because he knows that something new is going to happen to them after the day’s program, saying that he came to let them know that there is hope for a better tomorrow for them and their children.
Speaking further, the General in the Lord’s vineyard, warned the women to desist from patronizing fake Pastors who extort them of their money and valuables with fake visions and prophecies, explaining that the blessings of God for His children is free.
He warned the widows to stop patronizing Native doctors, because they have nothing good to offer them, urging that they should cleave solely on the Lord Jesus Christ, maintaining that the more they call upon His name, the better for their lives because the Name of Jesus Christ carries Power.Finally, the Elect of God, urged the widows to be gathering at the venue of the day’s program every First day of the month for Prayers, committing themselves and their children into God’s hand, because there is Power in Prayers.
The event Featured Praise/Worship and Prayer session. Prayer was offered for the speedy development of Idumuesah Community and for them to have a very good market in the Community. Prayers was also offered for the widows and their families. While the widows also prayed for God’s protection and continuous blessings on Prophet Joseph Igbodo and members of his entourage.
In their separate remarks during an interactive session with Ika Mirror Newspaper reporter, Mrs. Mercy Obahagbon, Madam Anthonia Mukolu, Mrs. Lydia Okwuaju and Mrs. Justina Okoh, appreciated Prophet Joseph Igbodo, for coming to give them succour by giving them and their children food to eat. They Prayed God to continually bless and prosper him and his family and entourage abundantly in Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.Prophet Igbodo, was accompanied on the visit, by Rev. Joseph Osayande JP, Pastor Austin Ikpegbu, Pastor Patrick Ojougboh, Pastor Benjamin Glory, Pastor Favour Onyegwu, Pastor Williams, Pastor Ediken ASP Godwin Obodo (Rtd), Prince Elder Aliekwe, Mrs. Obayangbon and Brother Chuks Ossai.
