The Delta State Chairman, Union of Tippers and Quarry Employers of Nigeria (UTQUEN), Comrade Chukwudumebi Eluaka has inaugurated the Ika North East and Ika South LGA’s executive members alongside others.The ceremony which took place at the state secretariat of UTQUEN, Asaba on Saturday, January 9, 2021 had Ika North East LGA executive led by Comrade Wisdom who was returned unopposed for a second tenure and Ika South LGA had fresh election which produced Comrade Christopher Ukpere led executive members.Speaking, Comrade Eluaka charged the new executive members to adhere strictly to the oath of office taken and work as a team for a progressive UTQUEN.

According to him, “I will continue to operate with the principle of uprightness and transparency. By this inauguration, I am giving the executive members the mandate to join hands with me to build a stronger and a progressive UTQUEN at all levels in the state.“God has given us victory to be an independent body of our own. Therefore, be you an executive or non executive, we must all work as a team”.

The Delta State UTQUEN Chairman charged the new executive members on dedication and accountability in office, saying that he will not delay to dissolve any executive that fails because it will also lead to failure in the organization.While thanking God for his faithfulness, Comrade Eluaka prayed God to give the UTQUEN chairmen the wisdom to lead successfully.Responding to newsmen, Comrade Wisdom Egbai reassured Ika North East branch of UTQUEN to continue to work as a team and robust second tenure in office.

According to him, “My executive will continue to run an open door policy, enjoy the prevailing peace to fullness such that everyone’s affair remains our collective affair and top priority”.

Also, Comrade Christopher Ukpere assured Ika South UTQUEN of team work, while soliciting for support to move the union forward.Roll call of UTQUEN Ika North executive members has Comrade Tony Monye as Vice-Chairman, Comrade Okochi Leonard, General Secretary, Comrade Achi Collins, Treasurer, Comrade Friday Isiwe, Financial Secretary, Comrade Jude Irabor, Task Force Chairman, Comrade Daniel Osagbobu, Audition, Comrade Sunday Opia, Patron, Comrade Wisdom Anthony, Senior Provost, Comrade Monday Edousunyi, D.O, Comrade Jonathan Ehijes, Ex-Officio and Comrade Paul Egbai, Assistant Task force.Others executive who contested and elected in Ika South UTQUEN include, Comrade Frank Pere, Vice Chairman, Comrade Ameachi Okeke, Secretary, Comrade Kingsley Ebonka, Financial Secretary, Comrade Omota Iwerriebon, Treasurer amongst others.
