… Proposes significant values as critical means for positive development

The Director-General of the Delta State Orientation Bureau, Eugene Azuka Uzum, Esq, on August 12, 2020, received on a courtesy call, the leadership of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Delta State Chapter, at his office in Asaba.The Team led by the Acting State Director, Mr. Chris U. Anyabuine, while hinting on the purpose of the visit, said that ” the aim of the visit was to deepen the long standing collaboration between the NOA, Delta State, and the Delta State Orientation Bureau, as well as to explore new areas of partnership that will be of immense benefits to Delta State and the nation at large.Chris, noted that the NOA as an Agency known for moving Nigeria to greatness through the promotion of National Ethics with patriotism, discipline, integrity, dignity of labour, social justice, religious tolerance and self reliance, will remain steadfast in proposing positive values, behaviour as means for critical development, has found the DSOB, led by Barrister EA Uzum, to be a worthy partner in progress in the continuous sensitization of the people to further foster the achievable level of Peaceful and Stronger Delta, as preached by His Excellency, Senator Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta State.He added that the NOA has been embarking on advocacy program and sharing of resources, IIC materials, including that on Covid-19 protocols and that more partnership with the bureau will ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness.Responding, Uzum, thanked the team, and noted that no doubt the biggest challenge amongst Sub- Saharan Africa is poor orientation, and opined that this has led to high level of social vices in the Society.He stressed that the need for synergy in building right mindset in the people for better society is very important and should be taking as a priority by all well thinking individuals.He used the opportunity to call on critical stakeholders to continue in upholding right morals in the people.In his words, ” Let’s us raise the stake of Orientation of the people and give it the front seat, for with it; the society we all clamour for is guaranteed” the Delta Orientation Boss, added.Highlights were the presentation of the NOA fliers, handbills and posters to Uzum.
